Hello!
I am a natural science illustrator. Most of my work has consisted of murals and exhibits for science museums, zoos and aquaria (really fun!). Recently, however, I made a return to fine art.

I work at home and currently divide my time between Pine Ridge, FL and Orleans, MA - though have spent time or lived all across the United States.

I am trained with a Master's degree in medical illustration (University of Illinois, Chicago) and a Bachelor's degree with a double major in zoology and fine art (University of California, Berkeley). I won my first art award in second grade with a silly watercolor of a cat.  As a science illustrator I have been able to combine my love of the living world with a drive to document it. I am perpetually entranced by combinations of color, form, and light, as they work in the natural world.

Awards, clients and collectors include the National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Massachusetts Audubon Society, Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, Association of Medical Illustrators, the National Parks Academy for the Arts, and the American Academy of Equine Art, among others. My science murals can be found across the US from Hawaii to Alaska. Fine art pieces have reached into Europe and Australia.
